The thick blanket of snow covering mountain's surface always attracts adventure enthusiasts. The northern region in India offer plenty of snow sports activities to them. Some of the famous snow sports played in the country include ice skating, snowboarding, skiing, heli skiing, mountaineering and ice climbing. The hills of India have all the ingredients for adventure packed with excitement and thrills and lots of unexplored valleys, towering peaks and snow-capped mountains and glaciers. India has more than one can imagine Shimla in Himachal Pardesh, Gulmarg near Sirinagar, Ladakh, Manali and Garahwal are few popular hideouts of winter sports bugs. Snow covered soil satisfies their adrenaline rush.
